A Multidisciplinary Art Experience
We are four artists who have transitioned from Cuba to the United States within the last five years. With generous support from philanthropists Laura Blanco and Bob Shainheit, we opened our studio and gallery in January 2019. While we share a space, we create our works individually, offering our guests a variety of style and works of art. Our space is located in Union City, New Jersey, a historic hub for the Cuban community located just across midtown Manhattan.
Located within the historic Hill Tower Building, ACPW resides in a former factory. The space encompasses 1,466 square feet. Union City and its neighboring communities was once considered a beacon for the embroidery industry during the Industrial Revolution. Many former factories, such as our building, have been re purposed as residential/mixed used spaces. Today, the factory produces a wide variety of artistic expression. In addition to serving as a space for art production, we regularly host group tours, special events, and creative workshop classes for adults. The Art Factory also hosts special installations of other contemporary artists.

Our recent project..
ADRENALINE # 1 is an experience of symbolic action on the limits of time in a big space. Working under pressure creates a new way of facing space. It is a test of the skills within the field of art itself.
